Description
The PADI Seal Team is designed for young divers who want to have fun in the pool by completing exciting AquaMissions.
Have you ever wondered what it feels like to dive with a flashlight, take a digital photo underwater or float in midwater like an astronaut? In addition to learning basic diving skills, there are so-called AquaMissions, such as wreck diving, navigation, buoyancy, environmental awareness and much more. The PADI Seal Team program includes fun pool activities, meeting new friends and sharing underwater adventures.
In order to enroll in the PADI Seal Team program, a child must be at least 8 years old. No previous scuba diving experience is necessary but children should be comfortable in the water. Parental approval is required.

Academic
The PADI Seal Team program teaches responsibility and respect for the aquatic realm. It is divided into two parts.
The first part, Aquamissions 1 – 5, develops basic diving skills such as breathing underwater, emptying a mask, recovering a regulator and swimming experiencing the sensation of weightlessness. Each session lasts approximately one hour. By completing these AquaMissions you will become a recognized member of the PADI Seal Team. When you are old enough to participate, your experience may count towards the PADI Open Water Diver course.
The second part, 10 AquaMission specialties, includes adventures such as creature identification, search and recovery and skin diving. By completing all of these adventures you will become a member of the PADI Master Seal Team – an elite of young divers.

Equipment
During the PADI Seal Team program, you will learn how to use basic equipment, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy compensator and a tank.
