PADI Tec 60 CCR
The Tec 60 CCR Diver is an intermediate program for Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) technical divers, in which you will learn how to use life support equipment and an air thinner to complete non-recreational dives.
You will learn to plan and dive, using trimix / heliox (minimum 16% of oxygen) as a diluent of a Type T CCR, up to a maximum of 60 meters / 200 feet, and to complete the various decompression stops carrying a gas of "Bailout" suitable for the dive.
The Tec 60 CCR Diver is the second level of technical diving training with Type T CCR, which includes a range of electronic CCR (eCCR) and manual CCR (mCCR). The Tec 60 CCR develops the understanding and skills necessary to diagnose life support problems while using trimix / heliox to complete a technical dive with its mandatory decompression stops.
Tec 40 CCR Diver or other qualifying certification:
Proof of recording of 150 dives, of which at least 25 - with 50 hours of experience - with the Type T CCR used in the course and with an outboard bailout system that follows the principles of the Tec 40 CCR Diver. At least 10 of these dives must have been made above 30 meters / 100 feet.
be at least 18 years old.
Tec 60 CCR Qualifier Program
Due to the differences between the CCRs, divers must qualify for each CCR; however, if you wish to upgrade to another Type T CCR, once qualified you will only need to complete a Tec CCR Qualifier program, which deals with specific theoretical skills and knowledge to the unit you want to learn how to use.
